“Kites”
When Mary was a child, her grandfather made kites from simple materials. Their shapes were plain, but Mary imagined them as fantastic creatures with magical stories. This illustration is a sweet reminder of childhood, dreams, and imagination. The work was created by Mary Maka for a competition from Affinity Designer company.
