The snake character series is dedicated to the Lunar New Year 2025. This personal project was started in January as a way to explore character design and experiment with different shapes. Mary has a keen interest in botanical elements, which often appear in her illustrations and animations, and many of the snake characters in the series incorporate plant-based traits.

This project was created as a form of creative exploration. It gave Mary the opportunity to develop new designs and be free to come up with new ideas. This project gave Mary the freedom to develop new characters and explore the world around her.
